Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the lodge. The room I stayed in was a bit grubby and had a funny smell, making it less than ideal. On the bright side, the friendly service and convenient location were definite highlights.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It's a cozy spot, despite being right behind the dumpsters which blocked our mountain view. At $65, it's a great value for money option. The staff may not be the friendliest, but don't judge a book by its cover; they were kind and understanding when needed.
I stayed at the hotel with a beautiful mountain view just a bit pricey for the old decor and cleanliness issues, yet the location was fantastic for exploring Banff and Lake Louise. The service was professional but had a few minor issues. The dining options were satisfactory, but improvements could be made. Overall, a decent stay with some room for enhancement.
I absolutely loved my stay at the lodge! The rooms had a quaint cabin feel with brand new beds and a 48" TV, making them beautiful, spacious, and flooded with character. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, our clothes and suitcases got soaked due to flooding in the room, which was a bit of a downside.
The hotel felt like a cozy little cabin, offering a dark but intimate ambiance. The service was a mix of borderline rudeness and genuine kindness, making for an interesting stay. The location was convenient for quick getaways and exploring the nearby attractions. The dining experience left room for improvement, lacking variety despite being included in the price.
The hotel had spacious rooms with a mini kitchen, but unfortunately, our view of the mountains was obstructed by dumpsters, which was disappointing. The room had a moldy smell which was a downside. On the plus side, it was convenient being near the parking lot.
